Hang Loose

Back in 1982, the surfer Alfio Lagnado created the label Hang Loose, a genuine brazilian brand at a time where the market of practically surfwear did not exist. As an active member of the sport, Lagnado noticed the lack of specific bermuda shorts for surfers and started to fabricate them.
Today, the label Hang Loose is a leader in the segment of surfwear in Brazil and exports its fashion to countries of Latin America and Europe.
Moreover, since 1986 the company carries through the Hang Loose Contest Pro, the most important championship of brazilian surf, valid for ranking of the WQS (second division of surf world-wide) with prime status and five stars ranking, that happen since 2000 on the island of Fernando De Noronha.
In Brazil, the only stage of World Championship Tour (WCT), the elite of surf world-wide, also is sponsored by the brand. Since 1995, Hang Loose also supports the sponsorship of the Amateur São Paulo circuit, the Hang Loose Surf Attack. Innovated in the last year when creating the Hang Loose Surf Camp, clinic developed for the experienced technician Pablo Kid with objective to prepare amateur athletes supplying physical, psychological and nutricional accompaniment during one week in Itacaré (BA).
